Mercedes announced today the 2012 ML63 AMG price list for the European market. The latest version of the high-performance SUV will go on sale across the old continent this April. Even though Mercedes-Benz did not release detailed pricing information regarding the various packages and optional extras which will be available for the 2012 ML63 AMG, we do have an initial figure. The 2012 Mercedes ML63 AMG will cost you in Europe at least €108,885 EUR. This fits perfectly between the €106,400 EUR BMW X5M and the €109,000 EUR BMW X6M. However, with the 2012 ML63 AMG you'll get "only" 525 hp, instead of the 555 hp of the two M cars. The AMG Performance package will get you 2 hp more than the two Bimmers, but it will cost you an extra €7,021 EUR. Of course, the AMG Performance package includes a lot more than just the power upgrade.
Here a few 2012 ML63 AMG specs. The power comes from the new 5.5-litre V8 biturbo engine, which outputs 386 kW (525 hp) at 5250 rpm and 700 Nm of torque between 1750 and 5000 rpm. With the AMG Performance pack, the figures go up to 410 kW (557 hp) at 5750 rpm and 760 Nm of torque between 2000 and 5000 rpm. The 2012 Mercedes ML63 AMG is able to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 4.8 seconds, or 4.7 seconds when equipped with the Performance Package. Its top speed is limited to 250 km/h (155 mph).
