Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe Review Video

One of the first Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe review videos surfaced the web this week, showing the new model being tested on the race track. The C63 sedan was launched four years ago, which is quite a long time for Mercedes to wait before launching its coupe version. The Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe is powered by the new 5.5-liter V8 biturbo unit, while the sedan has the previous, 6.3-liter unit. Merc's coupe version of the C63 AMG develops 457 hp at 6800 rpm and 600 Nm of torque at 5000 rpm. With AMG's Performance Package in place, the C63 Coupe outputs 487 hp at 6800 rpm.

Merc's official specs list for the C63 AMG Coupe says it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.5 seconds and that it has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The C63 AMG coupe comes with the Mercedes SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission, LED daytime running lights and an update interior. With a 12.0 l/100 km fuel consumption and a 280 g/km CO2 emissions level, the C63 AMG Coupe is not the most economic car in the world, but judging its performance, we might just accept those figures.

The Mercedes C63 AMG Coupe is priced from 72,590 EUR and it's main rival are the BMW M3 Coupe and the new Audi RS5.
