You would expect rich Russian and Chinese moguls to create golden luxury vehicles, but not Mercedes. For the 2012 Cannes International Film Festival, Mercedes has provided a fleet of golden AMG models, to celebrate the awarding of the 65th Palme d'Or (Golden Palm). Did they really have to? Mercedes AMG hopes that the very "discreet" shuttle service is going to offer "a unique automotive experience" for guests and visitors. Would you like to be seen stepping out on the red carpet from one of these vehicles? Apart from this shuttle service, Mercedes will also display a golden SL65 AMG 45th Anniversary at the Cinema Against AIDS Gala.
During the festival, Mercedes is going to organize a "Driving Performance" event, which will enable you to test various AMG models along the French Riviera.
