The latest rumors says the performance division of Mercedes is working on an entry level baby saloon based on the Mercedes F800 Style concept which is called C117 EVO. The new Mercedes F800 AMG C117 EVO will a four-door that will enter the same market segment as the Audi RS3 and BMW M1 and will be the second model built from scratch by AMG.
The Mercedes F800 AMG C117 EVO price will be around 30,000 GBP which is just below the C63 AMG. The power of the Mercedes F800 AMG C117 EVO will come from a 3.2-litre supercharged V6 engine that reportedly is already in development and develops in the region of 400 hp. The engine of the Mercedes F800 AMG C117 EVO might get coupled with the company's 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox
and the power will go to all four wheels. Although it will be all-wheel-drive, the company also promises the new Mercedes F800 AMG C117 EVO will give a RWD driving experience.
