Mini Cooper revealed today a facelifted version of their Rocketman concept, which was premiered at the Geneva Motor Show 2011. The new Mini Rocketman dresses up in Olympic colors for the games that will take place this year in London. Apart from the obvious advertising purposes, the new Mini Rocketman could also suggest that BMW has finally decided to put it into production, however, this is just speculation at the moment. The Mini Rocketman is a small 3+1-seater, just 3 meters in length, with three doors, which is built around a spaceframe chassis made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic. The new colors of the Rocketman express Mini's British heritage and sporting elegance. The Union Jack theme is visible at the exterior and at the interior. The glass roof also recreates the British national flag.

The most striking design features of the Mini Rocketman's interior include the transparent speedometer, which pops out from behind the steering wheel, and the miniature basketball court located inside the center console. The dashboard of the new Rocketman depicts the name of every host city of the summer Olympic Games in the modern era. all the details of the new Mini Rocketman are available here.
