Mitsubishi revealed today the new Concept G4 that previews the Japanese carmaker's future four-door sedan. The Mitsubishi Concept G4 is going to have its world debut by the end of the month bringing a new compact sedan to the market. Mitsubishi plans to sell the production version of the G4 concept globally. The Mitsubishi G4 comes with a short nose, which promises to offer better forward visibility and improved handling, and a dynamic character line which kicks up towards the rear. One of the key design elements of the Mitsubishi G4 is the brilliant-cut diamond motif of the front grille, headlamps and rear lights. To reduce the weight of the G4 and to improve its fuel efficiency, Mitsubishi have it a RISE (Reinforced Impact Safety Evolution) body.

Thanks to high-tensile steel, the G4 has one of the lightest bodies in its class.

To power the G4, Mitsubishi chose a 1.2-liter MIVEC engine that works together with the CVT transmission for driving the sedan's front wheels. Mitsubishi says that thanks to the G4's high hip point and large door openings the sedan offers more comfort for its passengers.

We'll have more details regarding the Mitsubishi Concept G4 as soon as the car manufacturer makes them available.
