Mitsubishi announced today that it's going to premiere two new concepts at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. The first one, called the Mitsubishi GR-HEV, is a sport utility hybrid truck and the second one is a suburban EV called the CA-MiEV. The Mitsubishi GR-HEV was designed with a larger, tougher, sportier vehicle in mind, which could be appropriate for both work and leisure. Mitsubishi's GR-HEV concept previews a future hybrid one-ton pickup truck. The GR-HEV is going to be powered by electric motors working together with a Clean Diesel engine. Mitsubishi plans to equip the GR-HEV with a full-time 4WD technology, including its acclaimed Super All Wheel Control (S-AWC) system. The GR-HEV is expected to emit less than 149 g/km of CO2, which would be quite an achievement for a pick-up truck of this size.

The Mitsubishi CA-MiEV previews a future compact electric vehicle. The CA-MiEV is going to be light and it will feature advance aerodynamics. Mitsubishi plans for the CA-MiEV to have a range of up to 300 km.

We'll have more details and images of the Mitsubishi CA-MiEV and of the GR-HEV at the time of their premiere.
