NSC Range Rover Convertible

Newport Convertible Engineering (NSC), a Californian company that specializes in building custom convertible vehicles, revealed recently an open-top version of the 2013 Range Rover. The NSC Range Rover convertible is based on the supercharged Autobiography version of the SUV. This means the SUV is powered by a 5.0-litre LR-V8 Supercharged petrol engine that spits out 510 PS. This is the most powerful engine in the 2013 Range Rover line-up. NSC's convertible Range Rover is fitted with a canvas roof that can be opened and closed electronically with a push of a button. When the roof is opened, it can be hidden beneath a cover. With its roof up, the Range Rover Convertible does not look particularly attractive to us, but with its roof down, it looks quite interesting.

We're wondering if the removal of the hard top had any effect on the body rigidity of the 2013 Range Rover.

NSC is going to announce the price of the Range Rover Convertible conversion at a later date.
