After the Nurburgring 24 Hour race new Lexus LF-A details have started to emerge. Apparently the Lexus LF-A will be unveiled at the upcoming Tokyo Auto Show and will be powered by a 4.8-litre V10 engine that will output more than 500 hp. The Lexus LF-A will be equipped with a 6-speed semi-automatic transmission and will have a top speed of 218 mph, which is more than the Nissan GT-R.
The same source says the production version of the Lexus LF-A will have a different front fascia than the prototypes seen at Nurburgring. The Lexus LF-A will be built in a limited run of 500 units and will also offer a performance package, including a wide body kit.
The Lexus LF-A price could be anywhere between 160,000 Euros and 220,000 Euros, which seems a bit steep for a Lexus.
