Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow With Tracks

Nissan revealed over the weekend the new Juke Nismo RSnow concept, which, instead of wheels, features snow tracks. The Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow is a one-off vehicle. It was built as a support vehicle for a snow competition, which takes place in Lapland, Finland. The crossover-tank hybrid is based on the all-wheel-drive Juke Nismo RS. The power of the Juke Nismo RSnow comes from the 1.6-liter 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that develops 218 hp and 280 Nm of torque. The power is sent to all four tracks via the Xtronic transmission. With this setup, the Juke Nismo RSnow is able to reach a top speed of 62 mph (100 km/h). So far, Nissan did not disclose the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) acceleration time of the Juke Nismo RSnow. The wheels have been replaced by a Dominator Track System.

This system was developed by a company called American Track Truck.

The Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow comes with a few other modifications too. For starters, Nissan had to reprogram the car's torque-vectoring all-wheel drive system. We'll have more details about the Nissan Juke Nismo RSnow as soon as the Japanese carmaker makes them available.
