Ram announced today that they’re going to launch a new small commercial van, which is going to be called the ProMaster City. The Ram ProMaster City is going to be based on the Fiat Doblo, which managed to win the International Van of the Year awards for two times. Even though it's going to be based on a Fiat, the Ram ProMaster City is going to be styled like all the other Ram trucks. The ProMaster City is going to be sold with different powertrain options in comparison to the Doblo. These new engine are going to be developed espe3cailly for the North American market. Ram is looking to expand its product line-up with everything from vans to pickups to Class Four and Five trucks. So far, Ram did not disclose a timeframe for the launch of the new ProMaster City commercial van.
