The French carmaker has unveiled today in Paris the new concept and has released four videos giving a detailed view over it. The Renault DeZir is the company's new look-at-what-can-we concept which is powered...by an electric motor, of course. Where are the petrol burning, smoke making, muscle concept of the old? Aside from Lamborghini and Audi, it seems that everyone has gone soft. We're still waiting for Lotus though... To get back to the Renault DeZir, it has an electric motor, it's true, but it outputs 150 hp and 226 Nm of torque. The concept is lightweight, so 100 km/h comes in just 5 seconds. However, its top speed does not match its looks. The Renault DeZir is able to go with a maximum of 112 mph.
