The first images of the SM7 sedan developed by Renault and Samsung were released today, as the new model has its world premiere today at the Seoul motor show. The new Renault Samsung SM7 sedan aims to become a premium segment model what will bring back the Safrane. Renault's Samsung SM7 is based on the same platform as the Nissan Teana and sources say it will share its underpinnings with the future SM5 model.
Judging from these images, it looks like Renault is going for a four-door coupe body style in the case of the Samsung SM7. Maybe their trying to get those buyers who want a Mercedes CLS, or an Audi A5 Sportback, but can't quite afford it.
The specs and details of the Renault Samsung SM7
have not been revealed yet, but expect the production model to be offered with both petrol and diesel engines.
The price list and availability of the new sedan will be announced at a later date.
