Michael Schumacher announced today on his official webpage that his F1 return has been called off. Apparently, his neck is not fir for F1 racing despite all the efforts made to bring it back into shape. Michael Schumacher injured his neck in February in a motorbike accident and he confirmed rumors that he sustained fractures in that event. Schumacher said "I really tried everything to make that temporary comeback possible, however, much to my regret it didn't work out. "
Ferrari is going to replace Felipe Massa who is injured with test driver Luca Badoer. Badoer will race the F1 car in Valencia and probably the situation will not change until Massa will be fit to race again.
