Ferrari has officially announced yesterday that Michael Schumacher will be back in F1 as one of their drivers, replacing the injured Felipe Massa. Ferrari said Schumacher will drive Massa's Formula 1 car until the Brazilian will be able to race again.
As you probably already know, Schumi is 40 years old and will have to undergo a special training program in the following days. At the end of he's training, Schumacher will start racing again in Formula One from the 23rd of August.
Michael Schumacher retired from F1 racing at the end of the 2006 season and was not planning for a comeback. He took up motorcycle racing and recently he suffered an accident which left him with an injured neck. He has to recover from this if he's to race an F1 car again.
