After yesterday's announcement from Toyota, Ferrari is the second team to announce it will leave the 2010 F1 season unless the 60 million USD budget cap is revoked. The Ferrari F1 Team is the only one in the Championship that took part in every race since the beginning of the sport in 1950.
The Board of Ferrari expressed its disappointment on the way FIA took the decision regarding the budget cap and its refusal to reach and understanding with constructors and teams.
Ferrari and Toyota are not the only teams to announce they will not participate in the next season of Formula One unless this rule is dropped. Red Bull and Toro Rosso also took this decision.
