The world debut of the new Smart Forspeed concept is expected to take place at the Geneva motor show next month, but it's not clear at the moment whether or not it will give birth to a production model.
The Smart Forspeed concept is actually an electric vehicle, powered by a 40 hp motor that can take it up to a top speed of 120 km/h. The Smart Forspeed concept has a 0-60 km/h acceleration time of 5.5 seconds, which is all you need in an urban environment.
The Smart Forspeed concept is juiced by a 16.5 kWh Lithium-ion battery that can give it a range of up to 135 km on a full charge. Early indications say that 80% of the Smart Forspeed concept's battery power can be restored in just 3 minutes of charging.
Since the Smart Forspeed concept has no roof, the interior is made with water proof materials.
