According to the German magazine Motorsport Aktuell the Japanese manufacturer Subaru considers a WTCC entrance. In this way Subaru will compete in both WRC and the FIA World Touring Car Championship.
Traditionally, the Subaru and STI names have been associated with WRC, but with the new Impreza out, they haven't been doing so well in the rally championship.
With the WRC and the WTCC working on a common set of rules, this could be a good opportunity for Subaru to explore new waters/tracks.
