NRMA Insurance published their annual Vehicle Theft Ratings report that measures the ability of a car to resist being broken into, stolen and re-birthed. Subaru won against thieves in two categories: Medium Car Segment and People Movers.
The Subaru Liberty received 102 points out of a maximum 120 in the first category and managed a maximum of 100 points in theft resistance and vehicle identification thanks to the vehicle immobiliser and the DataDot technology.
The Subaru Tribeca also scored 102 points, leading the People Movers category by more than 17 points.
The new Subaru Impreza managed only a forth place in the Small-Medium vehicle category.
