This is the car that the Spanish motor company Sunred wishes to race in the FIA GT1 series. They also want to homologate the car.
The Sunred SR08 was unveiled at the Barcelona Motor Show and will enter production in 2008. The Sunred SR08 will have adjustable Ohlins suspension, ceramic brake discs, six piston calipers and a carbon fiber body.
The Sunred SR08 power plant will be a 500 bhp V10 engine that will be capable to take it from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The top speed is estimated at 300 km/h. These performance numbers are possible because of a 2.2 kg/bhp ratio.
