| Toyota iQ Production Version |

Toyota announced that it will present the production version of the Toyota iQ at this year's Geneva auto show. The iQ concept was presented for the first time at the IAA in Frankfurt last year. The Toyota iQ production version is less than 3m long and it will go into production at the end of the year.

this compact urban vehicle can carry three people in comfort, with room to spare to accommodate a child or carry luggage.
The ingenious design was created by bringing together six linked, space-saving engineering innovations that mark a revolution in Toyota’s vehicle development. iQ is rich in Japanese design elements and signals a radical shift away from the belief that small cars, although kinder to the environment, are inherently basic and less safe. |
At the Geneva Motor Show, Toyota will unveil the production design of its all-new small car – Toyota iQ. First shown as the Concept Car iQ at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, iQ will go into production during late 2008.
iQ represents a break-through in compact urban transportation. For a first, up to three passengers can
be comfortably seated in a compact urban vehicle at sub three meters in length, and additionally have enough area to accommodate a child or luggage.
