VUHL, or Vehicles of Ultra- lightweight and High-performance, announced today that they’re going to premiere the new 05 supercar at the 2013 Goodwood Festival of Speed, UK, July 11-14. The VUHL 05 supercar was designed by Iker and Guillermo Echeverria and their Mexican/American design agency, Etxe. VUHL says about the new 05 supercar that even though it's road-legal, it has been engineered for the track and that it's going to offer exhilarating performance. However, VUHL did not disclose any specifications of the 05. Some of the companies involved in the development of the VUHL 02 include Magna Steyr, Multimatic, and Ford. The VUHL 05 has been developed in the UK. Its body is going to be built in Canada, while the chassis and the final assembly of the car are the work of the Adman Leku concern in Mexico City.

The money for the VUHL 05 came from private investors and the Mexican Government.

We'll have more details regarding the VUHL 05 as soon as they're available.
