A fresh rumor from inside Germany says that Volkswagen is working on an estate VW Passat CC Variant version. The VW Passat CC Variant will fill the gap in the company's line-up for the US market, where the regular Passat estate version will not be sold. The details of the VW Passat CC Variant are scarce at the moment, but the new model will probably have the same engine line-up as the 4-door coupe.
The VW Passat CC Variant will offer a choice between various petrol and diesel TDI engines, and possibly, will also have an R Line sporty version.
The company will take the decision on building the new model this fall, which means it could
also never see the light of day.
