The rumors of a possible Renault Clio Cup competitor from Vauxhall have started to surface months ago, and today we have new information regarding the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring edition. The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring will be powered by the standard 1.6-liter turbo engine from the VXR which develops 192 bhp. However, the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring will be around 70 kg lighter than the standard car, which will greatly improve its performance levels.

The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring will feature a new exhaust system with two huge tailpipes, left and right. The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring will have no rear seats and will feature various body part made from carbon fiber which will help reduce its weight and in turn, improve its

handling characteristics. The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring will also have a stiffer suspension setup, bigger brakes and a new body kit.

The aerodynamics package of the Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring will include a rear roof spoiler, new front and rear bumpers with various air vents and intakes, new rims and new side skirts.
