Vauxhall announced today the Corsa VXR Nurburgring price list, as the new high performance version of the small hatch goes on sale across the UK. Vauxhall promises that the Corsa VXR Nurburgring will be one of the fastest B-road cars, thanks to its 1.6-liter turbo engine. This powerplant outputs 205 PS at 5,750 rpm and between 250 Nm and 280 Nm of torque. This is 13 PS and 20 Nm of torque more than the regular version of the Corsa VXR. Apart from the extra umpf, the Corsa VXR Nurburgring also comes with a re-mapped ECU and a sports exhaust with a reduced back pressure. Vauxhall says that their Nordschleife inspired Corsa VXR is able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds and to reach a top speed of 143 mph.

The Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring comes equipped with a mechanical, multi-plate limited-slip diff, which is able to reduce torque steer, Bilstein springs and dampers, and a reduce ride height (20 mm at the front and 15 mm at the rear). The Corsa VXR Nurburgring features 30% lighter brakes developed by Brembo, and recalibrated ABS, Traction Control and Electronic Stability Control.

The base Vauxhall Corsa VXR Nurburgring price is set to £22,295 GBP, for which you will receive a lot of equipment. This includes new alloys, a front spoiler lip, various logos, Recaro seats and branded door sills.
