General Motors announced recently the price list of the new Vauxhall Cascada, which is already on sale. The Vauxhall Cascada is going to be available with several engines, including a 1.4-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 140PS that promises a fuel economy of up to 44.8mpg and a CO2 emissions level of 148g/km. If you're looking for more performance, Vauxhall will also sell the Cascada with a 1.6 SIDI Turbo ECOTEC petrol engine that puts out 170PS between 1650 rpm and 3200rpm and up to 280Nm of torque. The Cascada 1.6 SIDI accelerates from nought to 60 mph in 9.2 seconds and it can reach a top speed of 135 mph. It promises 39.2mpg and 168g/km CO2. The diesel range of Vauxhall's Cascada includes a 2.0 Bi-Turbo engine with 195 hp. This version of the Cascada gets from zero to 60 mph in 8.9 seconds, it can reach a top speed of 143 mph and it promises 54.3mpg.
The Vauxhall Cascada comes equipped with 18-inch alloys, a sports chassis, LED tail lamps, a leather upholstery, and heated front seats and steering wheel. All versions of the Cascada feature the same HiPerStrut front suspension as the high-performance Insignia VXR.
