GM Vauxhall revealed today the production version of the Zafira Tourer concept, which will go on sale early in 2012. Vauxhall will offer three engine choices for the Zafira Tourer, with power outputs ranging from 110PS to 165P. The Vauxhall Zafira Tourer diesel will have a 2.0 CDTi engine (available in three output levels), while the petrol range will include a 1.4-liter turbo unit and a 1.8-litre one.

The Zafira Tourer retains the Flex7 concept, and is able to transform from a 7-seat minivan to a 5-seat one. It promises limousine-like quality and interior space, with a luggage area of up to 710 liters. When the rear seats are folded, Vauxhall Zafira Tourer can offer a cargo space of up to 1860 liters.

The Vauxhall Zafira Tourer features the FlexConsole central storage system, and the new generation FlexFix bicycle carrier that's integrated in the rear bumper.

Vauxhall's new Zafira Tourer has a 2760mm (+57mm) wheelbase, a 1584mm (+96mm) front track and a 1588mm (+78mm) rear one. The increased dimensions result in better stability and more interior room. For better comfort and a smoother ride, Vauxhall fits the 2012 Zafira Tourer with the FlexRide system, that adapts the car’s damping to suit road conditions.
