Video: Futuristic Bus In China

 »  »  »

This is the first video presenting a 3D animation of the futuristic bus in China that got the Internet all fired up a few days ago. The now Internet-famous Chinese super bus was designed by Shenzhen Huashi Future Car-Parking Equipment and apparently it will be able to run over traffic.

At this point, this huge bus is only in a project is only in a concept phase. Even so, it makes us very happy. They didn't copy from anyone this time.

The bus is actually called the 3D Express Coach and employs quite an ingenious idea. It runs on two tracks, one on each side of the road, while the space beneath it is sufficient for small cars and vans to pass. The Chinese bus uses the space

above the cars and various road obstacles, such as bridges, to carry people. Talk about efficiency. Instead of crowding up the streets even more with new railways, they came out with an idea for better use of the already available space.

The 3D Express Coach will actually become a reality sometime in the following years. The Chinese have already announced that the building of the first 115 miles of bus track will begin at the end of the year in Beijing.

Watch this futuristic bus in China in the video after the jump.
