After watching this video, we can safely say Engin Kocak is the hero of the day. The petrol tanker you see in this clip was filling the fuel tanks of the station. For unknown reasons, the petrol being transferred from the truck to the tank caught fire and in just a few seconds engulfed the whole vehicle. The Turkish trucker managed to keep his cool and, as others were running from the scene, drove the tanker away from the fuel station. Imagine the size of the disaster he avoided by taking action. If the fuel tanker would have blown, it would have taken the whole station with it. This would’ve resulted in serious loss of life an property.
Unfortunately, some cars also caught fire and couldn't be saved, but this was a small price to
pay in comparison to the mayhem this could’ve caused.
