VW has released the initial details and images of the Volkswagen E-Lavida concept car together with the production car Volkswagen Lavida at the Auto China 2010 show in Beijing. The Volkswagen E-Lavida is powered by an electric motor and batteries. However, the details of the Volkswagen E-Lavida have not been released yet.
The Volkswagen Lavida is destined for the Chinese market and comes with the same engine line-up as the Bora. This means the Volkswagen Lavida is powered by four-cylinder engines coupled with either a manual or a six-speed automatic (Tiptronic) transmission.
The Volkswagen Lavida measures 4608 mm in length, 1743 mm in width and 1465 mm in height and has
a 2610 mm wheelbase. The Volkswagen Lavida offers a 472 liters luggage space.
The equipment list of the Volkswagen Lavida includes ABS, driver and front passenger airbags, air conditioning and a MP3-compatible CD radio.
