New details of the next generation 2011 VW Phaeton have surfaced the web over the weekend, ahead of the model's debut in Beijing next week. The 2011 VW Phaeton will come with a completely new front end, sporting the company's new trademark fascia, pioneered by the VW golf VI. The rear of the 2011 VW Phaeton shows a new light cluster that uses LEDs.
This will be the company's third attempt to introduce the Phaeton name in the luxury segment, where the BMW 7 Series and the Mercedes S Class are the current kings. This means the 2011 VW Phaeton will have a luxury interior featuring various quality materials. It will probably have a re-designed center console and new clocks.
As far as the engine line-up goes, the 2011 VW Phaeton will have a range of petrol and diesel engines, and probably will offer the choice of a powerful V10 unit.
The rumor is the 2011 VW Phaeton will also be made available on the U.S. market.
