Volkswagen has released today the first images and facts about the new 2011 VW Caddy facelift which will be sold on the European market starting this September. As expected, the 2011 VW Caddy facelift has also received the 'Golf VI' face as all the latest models to come from the German brand lately.

As far as the engine options go, the 2011 VW Caddy facelift will be available with both petrol and diesel units and it will even be sold with the trick DSG gearbox. The petrol range of the 2011 VW Caddy facelift includes a 1.2-liter TSI with either 86 hp or 105 hp.

As expected from this market segment, most of the 2011 VW Caddy facelift version are powered by

diesel engines. The diesel line-up of the new 2011 Caddy includes 75 hp, 102 hp, 110 hp and 140 hp engines that can be coupled with the DGS gearbox. The 2011 VW Caddy facelift powered by the 110 hp TDI engine is also available with the company's 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.

The 2011 VW Caddy facelift with the 75 and 102 hp TDI engines will also be available with the BlueMotion technology that greatly reduces the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions levels.



The interior design of the 2011 VW Caddy facelift has been refreshed and now the commercial vehicle has the same steering wheel as the Golf, a new dashboard and improved quality materials. The load capacity of the 2011 VW Caddy facelift is rated at 3,030 liters for the five-seat model and 3,880 liters for Caddy Maxi.
