| Evo Magazine puts two of the moment's hottest open-top sports cars in a head-to-head battle on the racetrack. The Audi R8 Spyder used for the purpose of this comparison test is the V8 version, which comes with a 4.2 FSI engine with 430 hp and 430 Nm of torque. With Audi's quattro all-wheel-drive system, and a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 4.8 seconds, the R8 Spyder V8 is a pretty tough competitor. The Porsche Boxster Spyder comes with a much smaller 3.4-litre 6-cylinder engine, which develops 320 bhp. However, thanks to a lower weight, the Porsche Boxster Spyder has the same 4.8 seconds acceleration time (0-100 km/h) as the Audi. | |||||||
