Before watching Audi's new commercial for the R8 Spyder we were planning to take a trip to Brazil. Now we're not so sure anymore. What's the point of going to Brazil without an Audi R8 Spyder? The new advert proves once again that Audi is one of the best car manufacturers when it comes to promotional efforts. In a little more than 2 minutes, Audi's new promo clip is able to imagine how would an entire trip to Brazil look like from the wheel of an R8 Spyder. We have to say, we would take a 2 minute break like that anytime. Unfortunately, the 111,955 GBP price tag of the Audi R8 Spyder is the only thing standing between us and perfection.
The Audi R8 Spyder was first launched with the 5.2-liter V10, FSI gasoline engine that has an
output of 525 hp and 530 Nm of torque. Now however, Audi is offering the R8 Spyder with the smaller, 4.2 FSI engine too. This version of the open-top R8 is good for 430 hp and 430 Nm of torque.
