In the latest episode of Fifth Gear, Jason Plato and Tiff Needell put two of the most desirable convertibles available on the market today against each other - the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio vs the Audi R8 Spyder. Here are a few numbers. The Audi R8 Spyder is powered by a 5.2 FSI V10 engine that sends 525 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels thanks to the company's quattro system. On the other side, the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio is all-wheel-drive and is powered by a 3.8 liter six-cylinder boxer engine developing 500 hp and 516 lb. ft. of torque. so the Porsche is low on hp, but it has more torque than the Audi. Both, the Porsche 911 Turbo Cabrio and the Audi R8 Spyder fall in roughly the same price category.
