| For the purpose of this review, the high-performance BMW M3 CRT is being tested on the famous "Green Hell" - the Nurburgring Nordschleife race track in Germany. The BMW M3 CRT is powered by the standard 4.4-liter V8 engine that's been upgraded to put out 450 hp and 440 Nm of torque. The CRT M3 needs 4.4 seconds to get from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) and to reach a top speed of 290 km/h. Apart from the extra horsepower, the BMW M3 CRT's performance comes from the fact that it is 70 kg lighter than a regular M3. | |||||
