| Some of you may remember the Trabant, which was budget vehicle produced in East Germany between 1957 and 1990. It had a body made of cardboard and a 600cc two-cylinder engine. This is the Trabant RS. It was developed by a Bulgarian who calls himself Ko Konja. It is powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine taken from a Fiat Coupe and it develops 220 hp. Apart from the bigger engine, we suspect the Trabant RS comes with a modern suspension system, a reinforced chassis and a few other technical modifications too. The interior of the Trabant RS has been completely redone too. It now features a leather upholstery, a new dashboard and a sport steering wheel. | |||||
