The new Koenigsegg Agera RS had its world debut today at the Geneva Motor Show. Koenigsegg revealed the full specs of the new Agera RS, however, its price is currently a closely guarded secret. The Koenigsegg Agera RS is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine that has been upgraded. It now develops 1160 hp on regular fuel. To get even more power, the Agera RS can be upgraded to run on E85 biofuel. The Koenigsegg Agera RS borrows technology from the One:1. The hypercar was developed primarily for the race track, but its manufacturer says it retains its everyday usability. The Agera RS comes with a luggage compartment, a rear window and a detachable and storable hardtop. Koenigsegg also equips the Agera RS with lightweight sound insulation, track optimized front splitter, front winglets, side skirts, advanced dynamic underbody flap system and a dynamically active rear spoiler.
The Agera RS generates as much as 450 kg of downforce at 250 km/h. As optional equipment, Koenigsegg is offering an active and self-leveling chassis package, 3G connected Pre-Active chassis setups, alternative aero package, active sound cancellation and much more.
The Koenigsegg Agera RS is going to be built in just 25 units, which have all been sold already.
