Today, the first Koenigsegg Agera R video surfaced the web thanks to the British journalists from the EVO Magazine. they had the privilege of visiting Koenigsegg's factory and managed to film this clip on the assembly line where the Agera R will be produced. The video shows the development vehicle used for the new Agera R, plus various running gear and powertrain details of the actual prototype displayed at the model's Geneva premiere.
We also get the chance to see, for the first time, the Koenigsegg Agera R's interior. At first everything is dark, but push a button and voila! You're inside Starship Enterprise.
The new Koenigsegg Agera R is powered by a
5 liter V8 engine capable of delivering 1115 hp and 1000 Nm. The maximum torque is rated at 1200 Nm. With these sort of numbers, the Bugatti Veyron looks like child's play. Driving the new Agera R, you'll be able to teleport from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.9 seconds and to 200 km/h in just 7.5 seconds. Koenigsegg hasn't put a price on the Agera R yet.
