Koenigsegg One:1

One... meet world! World! This is One! Koenigsegg decided to unleash hell...on an unsuspecting Friday afternoon! Yup! The world's first megacar is here! Why Mega! Because it's going to unleash 1 megawatt of power on your behind! That's why! What's Koenigsegg One:1 all about? Well...it's about 610 kg of down force at 260 km/h (160 mph), 2 Gs during cornering, and 1,340 hp! Yeah, I know. Not very impressive, is it? But these numbers are real. Koenigsegg’s One:1 also comes with an active ride height, adjustable springs, and a 3G and GPS controlled Predictive Active Chassis and an Aero Track Mode, whatever that means... The front flaps you see in these photos... those are active too. There's no point in mentioning that the rear wing is also active.

The Koenigsegg One:1 is fully connected. It uses 3G to send telemetry, performance, and lap times data, as well as to receive software upgrades and the owner's iPhone apps. With the One:1, Koenigsegg managed to build a 20% lighter chassis, thanks to... some fibers (M46J & M55J high modulus fibers). Let me catch my breath. The One:1 uses 3D-VGT. This is a Koenigsegg-patented 3D printed, variable, turbo housing. Its purpose is to give improved throttle response and bottom end torque. The Koenigsegg One:1's seats are made of carbon fiber ventilated memory foam. Are you there yet? The exhaust is made of titanium, but that's to be expected.

Now, they may have made a mistake. Why put an active noise cancelling system in such a beast? If the babe doesn't like the noise...it's not the right babe.

And to give the "coup de grace", Koenigsegg says they built it for acceleration, not for top speed! Can it get better than this? Well, if they wanted to, they could make the One:1 go faster than 440 km/h.

Mr. Koenigsegg ... Respect!
