Morgan announced today that they plan to put a bit of style, and some Cosworth magic, into Silverstone's 2015 Classic. Their weapon of choice is the AR Plus 4, which marks the 65th year since the Plus 4 first entered production. The Morgan ARP4 comes with a 2.0-liter engine, developed by, well, Cosworth, which puts out 225 hp. We'd love to give you more standard specs, but they stop here. The Morgan ARP4 will be built in 50 units. Each of them is going to be set up by an AR Motorsport race technician, who has to make sure that your Morgan ARP4 delivers road performance, comfort and usability. Morgan also says that the ARP4 has to offer the same exhilarating experience on both the race track and the public roads. Here are a few tech specs.
The Morgan ARP4 comes with a re-designed suspension, adjustable shock absorbers, new brakes, and a different axle ratio. Morgan also revised the chassis for the ARP4.
The Morgan ARP4 comes with aluminum panels at the interior, leather upholstery, a redesigned dashboard, extra soundproofing, and LED lights.
