Morgan's third premiere scheduled for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show is the new Roadster 3.7. Powered by a 3.7 Cyclone V6 Ford engine and weighing just 950kg, the Morgan Roadster 3.7 looks pretty promising. Its output is rated at 194 kW (280 bhp) at 6000 rpm and 352Nm (300lb/ft), which gives it a 295 bhp / ton power to weight ratio. The Morgan Roadster 3.7 is rated with a top speed of 140mph / 225 km/h and a 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) acceleration time of 4.9 seconds. Thanks to a limited slip differential with cone drive and a 6-speed manual transmission, Morgan's new Roadster 3.7 is able to offer both performance and economy.

The roadster is rated with a 40.4 mpg (7.0 l / 100 km) fuel consumption on the highway, a 19.2 mpg (14.7 l / 100 km) in the city and a 28.8 mpg (9.8 l / 100 km) fuel economy in the combined cycle. Its CO2 emissions are rated at 230 g/km (TBC).

The Morgan Roadster 3.7 measures 4010mm in length, 1720mm in width, 1220mm in height and has a 55-litre fuel tank.

Some of the special features of the new Roadster 3.7 include air conditioning, digital and analogue displays, an electronic warning system, a stopwatch and various wood trim elements.

The Morgan Roadster 3.7 price and availability have not been announced yet.
