Arash revealed their second model after the AF10, the AF8, at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. At the time of the AF8's unveiling, Arash also revealed the car's full specifications and details. The Arash AF8 has a mid-engine rear-wheel-drive architecture, and it features a carbon fiber and aluminum reinforced hybrid tubular steel chassis with a carbon body. The power comes from a massive 7.0-liter V8 engine that develops 550 hp at 6,500 rpm and 640Nm of torque at 5,000 rpm. According to Arash's official specifications, the AF8 is able to accelerate from zero to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.5 seconds and to get to a top speed of 200 mph (320 km/h). The Arash AF8 is equipped with a carbon intake system, a 6-speed manual transmission, dry sump lubrication, titanium connecting rods, and a forged crankshaft.
The Arash AF8 measures 4.15 m in length, 1.9 m in width and 1.1 m in height. It weighs just 1,200 kg and it offers 42 liters of boot space. The equipment list of the Arash AF8 includes:
