| Volkswagen released at the end of last week the first teaser video for the next generation Golf VII. The clip shows a covered up Golf VII, which allows us to see just the design of the new headlights. VW's teaser discloses a few details regarding the new Golf VII. For starters, the new model is 100 kg lighter than the Golf VI, and it promises to offer mode safety and increased comfort. VW claims that they managed to reduce the fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of the Golf VII by up to 23 per cent. The equipment list of the Golf 7 includes several novelties. Among those we should mention the multicollision brakes, the front transverse differential lock, the progressive steering system and the Touch system with proximity sensing. The world debut of the Volkswagen Golf VII is going to take place on 4th September, 2012. | |||||
