13 Year Old Aims For WRC in Prodrive Subaru Impreza Group N

 »  »  »

Prodrive has found its next WRC champion, but unfortunately he's too young to be allowed to drive in the World Rally Championship. Sean Galael, a 13 year old from Indonesia, has won the first two rounds of the KFC Junior Rally Sprint driving a Prodrive Subaru Impreza Group N rally car. The car has the same specification as Prodrive's WRC Impreza Group N.

The kid is already accustomed to be a co-driver as last year he aided Prodrive's own works test driver, Dave Maslen, and former Australian rally champion, Cody Crocker, to victories in the Indonesian Rally Championship.

This year Sean prepares himself to co-drive again for the Serge Motorsport Prodrive Impreza N14 in the Indonesian series.

Speed runs in the family for Sean as his dad Ricardo, won the Indonesian Championship in 2006.
