Prodrive has unveiled today the 2010 Group N Subaru Impreza rally car - the N2010 - that will compete in the 2010 WRC (World Rally Championship). The Prodrive Subaru Impreza N2010 WRC has a new larger 33mm air restrictor, as regulated by FIA, high flow fuel injectors and a re-mapped ECU. These modifications give the Prodrive Subaru Impreza N2010 WRC 20 hp more and an increase and torque.

The Prodrive Subaru Impreza N2010 WRC also comes with improved Ohlins dampers that now have an extra travel front and rear and stronger suspension bushes.

The Prodrive Subaru Impreza N2010 WRC price starts at 120,000 GBP and the British company says it ha introduced a financing option to enable the car to be leased over two years.

Graham Prew, Prodrive sales manager, said “The engine and suspension changes make the N2010 far more competitive,”. “On gravel the Impreza is certainly a match for any Super 2000, but it is on tarmac, that the additional engine performance will really come into its own and make the N2010 a competitive alternative to a Super 2000, but at about half the price and with significantly lower running costs.”
