Audi announced that the launch of the 2009 Audi TTS in US will take place at the end of the year. The USA version of the 2009 Audi TTS is powered by a 2.0 liter TFSI engine developing 265 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque. The engine of the 2009 Audi TTS is coupled with an S tronic dual-clutch transmission with 0.2 second shift times.
The top speed of the 2009 Audi TTS is electronically limited to 155 mph while the 0 to 60 mph acceleration time is 4.9 seconds. Going on sale at the end of 2008, the 2009 Audi TTS price for the USA market will be released at a later date.
The 2009 Audi TTS will come equipped with 19" wheels, brakes with black painted TTS calipers,
TTS badges on grille, rear deck and steering wheel and dual chrome exhaust pipes.
The dynamics of the 2009 Audi TTS benefit from Audi's magnetic ride with a 10 mm lowered chassis and continuously adjustable damping with Sport and Standard modes.
