In the latest episode of his web-based car show, Jay Leno reviews the latest 2011 Dodge Charger R/T, with the required burnout of course. The 2011 Dodge Charger R/T reviewed by Mr. Leon is powered by a 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine with a conscience. Dodge equipped this powerful, muscle car unit with four-cylinder mode FuelSaver Technology which makes the car use only four of its eight cylinders when the extra power is not required. This in turn, reduces fuel consumption, CO2 emissions and leaves more gas money in your pocket.
However, the 2011 Dodge Charger R/T may lose some points in the efficiency department due to its AWD system. This usually increases fuel consumption on any give model.
On the plus side, the all-wheel-drive system offers more control than a RWD machine, better traction off the line and more fun in the corners.
