As if the 911 GT2, called the "Widow maker" in some circles, is not mad enough, the German carmaker is planning the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS. One of today's rumors says the new 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS will be unveiled this September and will hit the market in the following months. No official details of the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS have been released yet, but the new model has been caught on camera at a dealer event last weekend. Visually, the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS doesn’t show any differences in comparison to the standard GT2, but then again, the image is not very clear.

The rumor says the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS will output 620 hp and an yet unknown, but massive, amount of torque which will al go to the rear

wheels. The 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS was seen testing on the Nurburgring recently and some believe it will send the Carrera GT back to school. Reportedly, the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 managed to get a track time on the 'Green Hell' of around 7 minutes 22 seconds. The 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS is expected to be 200 pounds lighter than the standard GT2 and to hit 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds.

Various sources say the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS will have an adjustable suspension system and a roll cage. We can speculate that the 2011 Porsche 911 GT2 RS will also have bigger brakes and possible new aerodynamic aids.
