Unfortunately, we have bad news for Porsche fans today. German carmaker has just announced that the Porsche 911 GT2 RS is sold out. The maddest 911 ever made, the Porsche 911 GT2 RS, has been unveiled a few months ago at the Moscow Auto Salon on August 25th. The company says that the 500 units of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS that will ever be made are now sold out.
The Porsche 911 GT2 RS is powered by the standard 3.6 liter six-cylinder boxer engine equipped with turbochargers with variable turbine geometry (VTG). However, the power output of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS has been increased by 90 hp over the standard GT2. This means the Porsche 911 GT2 RS develops 620 HP and is able to rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds.
Despite the increased performance, the efficiency figures of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS are improved in comparison to the standard 911 GT2. The car offers a 11.9 l/100 km (NEDC) fuel consumption and a 284 g/km CO2 emissions level.
